Twenty-four young men and women march into the center of Target Field during a pre-game ceremony Sept. 5 in commemoration of the 1967 Twins Platoon. These twenty-two men and two women, who are from the local area, took the oath of enlistment and were sworn into the Marine Corps in commemoration of the group of 150 warriors who swore in on June 28, 1967. Wrestlers from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and the Dakotas begin a 3.5-mile obstacle course biathlon during the All-Marine Wrestling Camp July 29. The race started with a 20-event obstacle course then moved to a 3.5-mile run. Teams had to carry one full ammo can and water jug during the race, which ended with a simulated marksmanship exercise.
