Ritter, an 18-year-old senior, with the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Scholarship following New Prague High School's Scholarship and Honors Night May 25. Ritter's parents, Julie and Mark, were among the dozens of local residents who attended the ceremony. Freisner, 25, from Granby, Mo., enlisted Ritter into the Delayed Entry Program on June 1, 2010. He will be attending the University of Minnesota in the Fall.
