Pvt. Kyle Phillip Lejeune, great-great grandson of 13th Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. John A. Lejeune, recently graduated recruit training in San Diego and is currently going through Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton. Being the fifth "Lejeune" to serve the Corps, he said he appreciated leaders telling him early on that "it's great to have that last name, but, 'you still have to be your own Lejeune.'"
