Female poolees hike through the trails around Historic Fort Snelling with the Marines of Marine Corps Recruit Station Twin Cities, Jan. 26. During the hike, the poolees carried rubber rifles and a heavily loaded pack to simulate the burdens they will be expected to carry in Marine recruit training.
