Staff Sgt. Benjamin Estep, a Drill Instructor from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, motivates poolees to move faster during Recruiting Station Lansing's annual Mini-boot Camp North, May 3 in Grayling Mich. RS Lansing conducts these training evolutions in order to evaluate and expose future recruits to the stresses of Marine Corps Recruit Training by bringing in Drill Instructors from both Recruit Depots to simulate the Recruit Training environment. Over 160 Poolees attended the camp, while over 180 attended Mini-Boot Camp South the previous weekend.
