Health Resolution-2391 became public law on June 9, 2014. The law designated the post office building in Cottleville as the Lance Cpl. Phillip Vinnedge Post Office. The bill was introduced on June 14, 2013 and signed into law by President Barack Obama on June 9, 2014. Morris is the Commanding Officer of 9th Marine Corps District, Western Recruiting Region, Marine Corps Recruiting Command and Vinnedge’s commanding officer while deployed.
