Capt. Joeseph Rieser presents the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship to Thomas Glission at an awards ceremony at Notre Dame Regional High School, Cape Girardeau, MO May 15. Glission will attend The University of Missouri in the fall to being his journey to become a Marine Corps Officer. "What impressed me most about Mr. Glisson is what I perceived to be his commitment to a cause greater than his own," said Rieser, the Executive officer of Recruiting Station St. Louis. "During our interview, I asked him what made him different from the other applicants and what made him unique; he responded 'I am determined to become the best leader I can be.'"
