Kyle Herbstreit received the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship upon graduation from Lake Shore High School, May 26, 2016. Every year, the Marine Corps awards the NROTC Scholarship to mentally, morally and physically exceptional students attending four-year colleges or universities. The scholarship covers up to $180,000 for tuition, books, uniforms, lab fees and a monthly stipend up to $400.
