Sarah Conlon has been awarded a 4-year Naval ROTC scholarship to the University of Nebraska valued at up to $180,000 covering all tuition and fees, textbooks and an additional monthly stipend. She was chosen by a board of Military Officers as one of the 48 selectees from a pool of more than 650 qualified applicants a crossed the upper Midwest for the scholarship. During her next four years at Nebraska, Sarah will train to become an officer in the United States Marine Corps while earning a bachelor’s degree. Upon graduation, she will be commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and serve her country for at least four years.
