Sgts. Julio Gonzalez and Adam Kruse watch Alson Bondy celebrate his 90th birthday at Inver Glen Senior Living on Oct. 5. Bondy served in the Marine Corps as a corsair pilot during World War II. The two recruiters out of the Woodbury, Minn., office stopped by the event after being contacted by one of the residents who knew about Bondy's service.
