RECRUITING STATION MILWAUKEE, Wisc. -- U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station Milwaukee invites the local community to a special performance by the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve Band at Sheboygan South High School on Oct. 11, 2024. This is an opportunity to experience the musical mastery of the Marine Forces Reserve Band. There will also be a short career information session for those interested in learning more about pursuing a unique, performance-based career as a Marine musician.
“This performance is an incredible opportunity not only to witness the talent of our Marine musicians, but to learn about the diverse career options the Marine Corps has to offer,” said 1st Lt. Okunsanya Amos, executive officer, U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station Milwaukee. “Whether you’re interested in music or another field, we encourage you to come and learn how the Marine Corps can provide you with both personal growth and professional fulfillment.”
As active-duty Marines, our commitment to service is at the core of everything we do, including the music we perform. The Marine Forces Reserve Band travels throughout the United States, performing for millions of people at more than 300 events annually. We are honored to share their tradition of musical excellence with the local community. Additionally, there will be time after the performance to meet with local Marine recruiters and band members to learn firsthand about the process of pursuing a musical career in the Marine Corps.
