Major Tribble was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in August 2001, completing his entry-level training at MCRD Parris Island, Marine Combat Training East, and the Field Radio Operator Course at the Marine Corps Communications-Electronics School in Twentynine Palms. Following his training, he reported to Company A, 6th Communication Battalion, serving as a 0621 Field Radio Operator.

In 2003, Major Tribble began his studies at Norwich University, which led to his transfer to Company B, 1st Battalion, 25th Marines. During this time, he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Okinawa, Japan. In 2004, shortly after returning from Japan, he rejoined Company A, 6th Communications Battalion, and deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

After returning from Iraq in 2005, Major Tribble applied for and was accepted as an EAD recruiter at Recruiting Station New York. He attended MCRD San Diego Recruiter School in 2006 and subsequently served as a Canvassing Recruiter until completing his tour in 2008.

Transitioning to Active Duty, Major Tribble served with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment from 2009 to 2012. His roles included Field Radio Operator, Radio Supervisor, Martial Arts Instructor, and Company Training NCO. He deployed twice during this period, as part of the BLT with the 31st MEU in 2009 and 2011. Major Tribble was honorably discharged from Active Duty in 2012 and transferred to the Selective Marine Corps Reserve, where he served as Radio Chief for Company A, 6th Communications Battalion.

In 2013, he was sworn into the Emergency Detention Response Team of North Carolina's Wake County Sheriff's Office and later transferred to Communications Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 45, in Greensboro, NC, where he served as Radio Chief and Company Operations Chief. He began working toward a commission with the Officer Selection Team in Raleigh, NC, and in December 2014, he was selected to attend the winter Officer Candidate Course, leaving the enlisted ranks as a Staff Sergeant.

Major Tribble graduated from Officer Candidate School in March 2015 and subsequently attended the Basic Officer Course and the Basic Communications Officer Course at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms. His operational assignments from 2016 to 2019 included roles as Platoon Commander, Battalion S6, Regimental S6A, Assistant Operations Officer, and Company Operations Officer within the 2nd Marine Division Communications Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, and 2nd Marine Regiment. From 2019 to 2022, he served as the Operations Officer in the 8th Marine Corps District, Recruiting Station Denver. He currently serves as the Company Commander of Company B, Marine Wing Communications Squadron 18, where he has also held the positions of Operations Officer and Executive Officer.

In July 2025, Major Tribble assumed command of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Chicago.

 

His military decorations include three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, one Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various service and campaign medals.
