Major Wyper is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After attending Officer Candidates School via the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program, he was commissioned in May 2013, and then attended The Basic School (TBS) and Marine Corps Engineer School.

Sergeant Major Robert D. Newkamp enlisted in the Marine Corps in May 2000, and completed Recruit Training at MCRD San Diego, California. Following recruit training Private Newkamp attended School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton, California and became an 0311 Basic Infantrymen.
We are dedicated to those elite members of the community who wish to become U.S. Marines. Our area of responsibility spans over 216,000 square miles, where we find the best of our nation to answer the call and become United States Marines.
